About Us

Now, Edgar and his wife Priscilla are the pastors of Family Christian Assembly in the city of Penitas, TX leading a spirit filled, family oriented church that impacts the community and strives to make a difference. 

Edgar and his wife have served the next generation over the years in different capacities. Edgar is the former youth pastor at Family Christian Assembly where he served for 8 years in that role and his wife Priscilla served as the Children's Pastor for 7 years. Their passion and commitment to the next generation is fervent and undeniable. 

Currently in addition to his role as lead pastor Edgar along with his wife also serve the next generation in the RGV and surrounding regions as a District Youth Director for the Texas Gulf Hispanic District. Edgar and his wife travel across the region empowering and challenging the next generation to a more passionate life with the Lord while they pursue the purpose that God has deposited over their life. 

Edgar's passion is to see people transformed with the message of the gospel. Wether he is at his home church in Penitas, TX or traveling the region his message is always one of hope.

Edgar and Priscilla both hold bachelors degrees and are bible school graduates from Flames of Fire Bible School. They have held ministerial credentials with the Assemblies of God for more than 5 years.
